1. Aim to build upon your listening vocabulary gradually.
2. Build banks of words related to a variety of topics: sickness, everyday life, transport, animals, fashion, household, environment, body parts, food etc.
3. Have a notebook where you can record these lists and spend time revising and building on each section.
4. If listening is completed in class, it is imperative that you spend time going back over it that evening.

Exam Tips Tip One:
Be familiar with the individual sections of the listening and how many times you will hear each section. Tip Two: Highlight keywords in the questions and think about possible answers if you have time left over. Tip Three: Never ever leave a blank in the exam. You certainly won't gain marks. |
